PARC Day Trips
AN AFTERNOON IN GRAFTON
Monday, April 29
10:00 a.m. departure from THE HEIGHTS
Resident/Member: $10
Nonresident: $12
We will travel up the Great River Road to Pere Marquette Park to dine on their famed fried chicken. After, we will have a bus tour of the park and will end the day with a wine tasting at The Grafton Winery. We will be back to THE HEIGHTS around 4:00 p.m. Lunch and wine are at your own expense.
AN AFTERNOON WITH LINCOLN

Did you know that Lincoln was the first president not born in one of the original thirteen states? And we're lucky enough to live just an hour and a half away! We will get the chance to learn and discover new facts at the Lincoln Presidential Library, visit Lincoln's grave at the Oak Ridge Cemetery and enjoy lunch at an Illinois staple, Portillos! The cost covers your ticket to the museum and transportation, lunch is at your own expense.

London Tea Room & Missouri Botanical Garden

Calling all the Lords and Ladies. Have your valet or your lady's maid press your finest garden party attire because THE HEIGHTS will be hosting a trip to the London Tea Room for a proper English Tea, followed by a trip to the Missouri Botanical Garden for a tram tour of the grounds. While at the Garden, each person will have the opportunity to have their portrait made in a regal setting. Cost includes a 3-course meal, tea, a ticket for the Botanical Gardens, Tram Ride and cost of transportation.

There is nothing like seeing a show come to life on a theater stage! Let's venture together for plays at STAGES St. Louis at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center! For each show, we will meet at THE HEIGHTS at 12:45 pm. The cost covers your ticket and transportation.

Walk with Ease with St. Louis Oasis

Do you want to improve flexibility, strength and stamina while walking safely and comfortable with others? Walk with Ease is an evidence-based walking program that can help reduce pain and improve overall health. Participants will meet three times per week under the supervision of a walking leader trained according to guidelines of the Arthritis Foundation. Each walk begins with a discussion related to exercise followed by stretching and strengthening, a walk and a cool down. Space is limited.
