Park Operations
Park Operations performs many and varied services throughout the community. Some of these services include turf management, park maintenance, snow/ice removal, and urban forestry management program.
Park Operations also assists with curbside leaf collection and grinding. Leaf mulch and wood chips are no longer available from the City.
Park Operations maintains landscaping and grounds of all City properties, including planters and pots, holiday decorations, and when necessary, Municipal Code violation abatement. It also handles post-storm damage and limb clean-up if possible.
Park maintenance staff is responsible for sports field preparation and conducting playground safety inspections.
