We accept cash, personal checks, money orders and – for most transactions – MasterCard or Visa. Please make checks or money orders payable to the City of Richmond Heights.
Any defendant requesting a continuance must speak with a court clerk. Leaving a message is not acceptable for obtaining a continuance.
Mail an entry, a request for a recommendation and a self-address, stamped envelope to the court. We will then remove the case from its current docket and you will receive a recommendation along with a new court date/pay date in the mail, usually within 2 weeks after the original docket date.
Please note: Due to the high volume of cases on our dockets, we are not able to pull files for cases set on other dockets dates. Please do not appear in court and ask the clerk to pull any files other than the files set for that evening’s docket.

If you wish to avoid points being added to your driving record because of a moving violation, you will need to appear on your court date and speak to the judge when your name is called.
You are not required to have legal representation to appear in the Richmond Heights Municipal Court, but it is your right to do so if you choose. Richmond Heights Court staff cannot give you legal advice.
The Richmond Heights Municipal Court is located at 7447 Dale Avenue, Richmond Heights, MO 63117 in the RH Public Safety Building. Enter the 2 green doors to the right of the large RHFD fire bay doors.

Directions:
From eastbound Interstate 64/40, take the Bellevue exit. At the top of the ramp, go right on Bellevue, and then make a right at the first stop sign, Dale Avenue. The Public Safety Building will be on your right. You can park in the upper lot before the Police & Fire building and walk to the double green doors.
From westbound Interstate 64/40, take the Big Bend exit and turn left (south) off the exit. Once you pass over the highway, turn left at the first stoplight at Dale Avenue. You can park in the upper lot after the Public Safety building and walk to the double green doors.
The Municipal Court window is open 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
