RH Forestry Dept Awarded TRIM Grant

The City applied for and received a TRIM (Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance) Grant to upgrade our current inventory of public trees to a web-based computer application in the amount of $9,000.00.
Our new software will enable our City Forester and Arborists to track maintenance requests in real-time, document work orders completed, assess overall health and maintenance needs, evaluate diversity and Eco-sytem benefits of our urban forest and provide current appraised values of each tree. Using these tools will help us to better and more efficiently manage our urban forest of nearly 8000 public trees.
